Positive: We had a wonderful stay with our family. Despite the difficult family situation that the host family was going through, we were made felt very much at ease in these wonderful surroundings. Speaking a bit of English, German, and Italian, we could well communicate with most of the host family! A few times we received tomatoes from the garden and at the end nice fig marmelade: much appreciated! The view from the apartment is nice, even if the sea is not directly visible. It is about 10 minutes walk to the beach, and in the surroundings we also discovered other nice beaches. All in all, a relaxing location. In 2 minutes you can go to the small supermarket that sells fresh bread from 7:00 every morning. Note that bigger shopping is about 15-20 minutes by car (in Pag or Povljana).
Negative: Not much really. Perhaps only two points: 1) there was one night with loud live music in town until late, but this is quite exceptional for this small town I think, and 2) upon arrival we had not realized that the bigger shopping is a bit further away: logic for a small town. However, we could combine this well with a visit to the nice city Pag.
